The ‘16 GT is a strong tempter away form the FR-S. If I hadn’t just dumped a bunch of money into new parts for my car, I’d be strongly considering switching out for a 5.0 next year.

I will, wife will most likely be getting one. With winter tires the only limit is packed ice once you get burried up to the diffs.

Yeah, if the weather holds up. Been cold and rainy since I got it..... That being said the traction control does its job. I drove a ws6 trans am 6 speed (no traction control) for years but this engine and track pack 3.73 gears is just on another level.

Yeah weather is always a difficult thing for big HP to handle. Anything over 300 gets tricky with a RWD. Best time to learn that slip and traction-loss safely tho, saved my butt a couple of times.
Does the track-pack come with summer-only tires? I could see your point to not driving if that’s the case. We just started getting cold enough here for rain to freeze... ugh. Ice is the worst

Yeah summer only. Which I did fine with in my old T/A. Of course it never ventured into snow, and neither will this car. But the pirelli’s on the mustang do well in the rain thus far, but it’s ~45ish degrees, much colder and it’ll have a hard time.

Literally. The tires will become hockey-pucks. I moved to -17F winters on summer only in my z. Let me say ice skating on cars is NOT recommended. Unless you like brown pants.
